Real Bride Real Story: Jessemy and Joel Malloy
Every now and then you bump into a bride who is so relaxed and wanting to simply enjoy her day.
I often say to brides a wedding is a party not a performance.
What guests respond to is love’s invitation.
Jessemy and Joel made sure that their invitation was an invitation to enter a day of relaxed joy and delight.
The day before her big day Jessemy was so relaxed. She bought in treasures that meant something to her heart, a lampshade, an old camera, a key engraved. Simple things of the heart. In that space she left her heart. The invitation was so clear, ‘Come and celebrate, relax, dance and sing with us, laugh out loud and clap your hands that we found each other’s heart.’
Jessemy chose a beautiful grazing table experience for her guests again communicating her desire to mingle, to place value on gathering hearts to her heart. She chose lots of whimsy. Flowers that all had space in their own right but when put together communicated this whimsical sense of joy and delight.
Jessemy and Joel Malloy we wish you all the best with your marriage. On our wedding day we don’t realise that love can get any bigger or better. But your day is simply the beginning of your love journey. As you swim further and further away from the shore or your wedding day you will go deeper and deeper with love. Be blessed and thank you for letting us share your day and your heart.
