    A workshop designed for women to learn more about how your diet affects your health.
    We will talk about gut health, real food Versus conventional diets, what does inflammation in the body look like and what type of foods to include for better health for you and your family.
    We’ll also do a fun demo on how to make sauerkraut and talk about other gut-friendly concoctions such as bone broth and kombucha with some samples available to try at the workshop.
    You’ll walk away with knowledge and some recipes to implement at home.

    5. Healing Nutrition by Dawida Rose-Nel  

    Your Health, Your Choice Workshop
    11 am to 1 pm

    Topics to be discussed:

    – Finding your ‘WHY’
    – Is your current diet, working for you?
    – Why ‘dieting’ is so incredibly hard and almost always fails
    – Which dietary approach is the right one for me and/or my family?
    – How do I do it? (practical tips to help you make a start)
    – Planning & Prioritising – because let’s face it, everybody is time poor!
    – SETTING GOALS and CREATING NEW HABITS
    – Which health/dietary goals should you set for yourself? How can you achieve it?
    – We discuss meals, snacks & lunchboxes
    – One of my biggest passions is GUT HEALTH and so we will spend some time here and discuss GUT HEALING FOOD AND PRACTICES as well as look at the connection between the gut and disease, including behavioural issues, allergies and intolerances etc.

    From Illness To Wellness Workshop
    7 pm to 9 pm

    Follow the experiences of Joanne from her earliest childhood memory as an unwell 5-year-old with a condition the Doctors didn’t have an answer for.
    Hear how she is a questioner of life, of the world of health, and learn how she was able to heal herself.
    Joanne is passionate about her recovery and presents at workshops, health retreats and events to share what she has learned and show how to attain optimal health.
    $10.00 per person

    9. Family Health Naturally by Christina Mathewson

    From Life-Support to Life Workshop

    7 pm to 9 pm
    Many people today are living their lives as if they have forever and their health will always be something they have. It can all be taken in a moment and you suddenly realize that it’s not forever. Christina will share the lessons she learnt about health and wellness from after coming off life support in 2013, after the birth of her last baby, lessons she has used to help many starts really living again.
